A fully accredited undergraduate degree from King's Evangelical Divinity School

A British undergraduate degree takes three years full-time (or longer for part-time students) and is divided into three levels:

First year: Certificate in Biblical Hermeneutics (CertHE)
Second year: Diploma in Biblical Hermeneutics (DipHE)
Third year: Bachelor of Theology (Hons) (B.Th.)

Students may exit the degree programme at certificate or diploma level and attain the corresponding qualification. To obtain a full BTh in Theology, all three levels must be completed. Each level of the undergraduate programme consists of a total of 120 credits and students reach this number through a combination of individual modules.

Some modules are "core" and are mandatory units that must be studied at each level. In addition to these, students may also choose from a range of courses called "electives" to complete the 120 credits required. All lectures and study materials are available online and can be downloaded when required. This allows students to study for an entire degree from home without needing to visit the College at any time. An Internet connection is normally required but for students without this facility, we can also post materials in a manner similar to a traditional correspondence course.
